Could we all just take a moment to appreciate the real reason we made it to the Super Bowl?
Where would we be without our loyal canine counterparts wedged between our feet, hoovering up the nacho crumbs or resting on our lap as we sit through the last nail-biting minutes of a game? Let’s face it, whether their eyeballs are glued to the screen or they’re snoozing through another touch-down, their presence provides us with a sense of comradery and comfort – even if they’re blissfully unaware. With that in mind, it makes sense that the 49ers have a therapy pet. Zoë, the new Frenchie on the team, has been providing the players with cuddles, kisses and calmness for the whole season. And it must be doing something because this is the first time they’ve been in the finals since 2013. Instagram stardom aside though – the little pup has over 25k followers – this represents a significant moment in the sport, by putting the spotlight on mental health in the most adorable way possible! In light of that, let’s celebrate the sideline sweethearts, starting with the one and only Zoë.
