With less than 2 weeks to go for FIFA World Cup 2026, fútbol fans are getting ready for yet another way to enjoy the matches live. AMC and Telemundo have partnered to present Telemundo’s Spanish-language broadcast of the biggest World Cup matches in theaters all over the country.
Here in the Bay Area, just 4 AMC theaters are scheduled to participate, including AMC Metreon 16 in San Francisco.
Bay Area AMC theaters screening World Cup matches
According to AMC’s FIFA World Cup page, the following Bay Area AMC locations will be presenting Telemundo’s Spanish-language broadcasts. Tickets can be purchased through regular AMC channels.

The big-screen broadcasts will be dedicated to the most anticipated matchups and most-followed teams in the U.S., including group-stage matches and Round of 16 coverage.
Fans can enjoy cinema-grade projection and sound, theater concessions, and a boisterous atmosphere at participating theaters all throughout the World Cup, which lasts from June 11th through July 19th.
