BART trains will likely run past their usual 9pm cutoff on Sunday.
Halloween weekend is just around the corner, and it’s looking to be a big one! BART is gearing up for sizable late-night crowds, many of which will be coming from the giant Halloween pub crawl and of course Outsidelands.
BART will continue to run midnight trains on Friday and Saturday of Halloween weekend, with talk of extending hours past 9pm on Sunday, October 31. They will post more information here in the coming days. Parking is free at all BART parking lots on weekends except for Milpitas and Berryessa/North San Jose stations.

In anticipation of large crowds for Outsidelands, BART released instructions about how to take public transit to get to Golden Gate Park. You can transfer at Bill Graham Civic Auditorium (Civic Center Bus Station), where prepaid shuttles will take you to Golden Gate Park. The last shuttles of the night will run from the Civic Center towards Dublin, Antioch, and SFO after midnight.Use the BART trip planner to help point you in the right direction!
Since August 2, BART has offered train service until midnight Monday through Saturday, and until 9pm on Sundays in an effort to advance rebuilding projects during the pandemic. Face coverings are required on all trains, regardless of vaccination status.
