This summer, the Bay Area Discovery Museum is turning its outdoor play spaces into a giant foam party!
The Sausalito institution’s summer Bubble Bash event offers a highly tactile, immersive environment for kids to safely play in. Families are invited to come join the fun now through September 7, 2026 (just make sure you bring a change of clothes).
Here’s a closer look…
Bubble Bash schedule
The event operates on a strict daily timeline to manage the messy activities. Morning visitors can join Pop N’ Play at the beach, which features fun bubble programs for toddlers from 9:30 to 10, and then more for older kids from 10:30am to noon.
As the afternoon approaches, the museum hosts a midday Bubble Blast from 12:15 p.m. to 1 p.m., filling the air with swirling bubbles and creating great photo ops against the backdrop of the Golden Gate Bridge.
The grand finale is the afternoon Foam Party, where children wade through massive piles of fluffy foam. These sessions are scheduled from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. on weekdays, and shift slightly to 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. on weekends.
