Every year Fleet Week delights San Franciscans with the array of plans zooming overhead. While the fog and clouds did cancel Saturday’s airshow, much to our disappointment, the clouds parted for Sunday to allow for the annual show. Aside from the iconic Blue Angels another crowd pleaser was the United 777, a commercial plane that takes part in the airshow.
This weekend the air shows featured multiple planes, including the iconic Blue Angels, and lucky for us there are plenty of talented Sf photographers that captured some pretty amazing photos of the airshows this weekend. Check out some of our favorites below:
The Blue Angels flying past the waterfront ferris wheel.
Many San Franciscans opted to watch the planes from their boats to enjoy the sunny weather.
Photographers were also able to get some incredible closeups of the planes in action.
Make sure to show local photographers some love as they worked to capture the beloved annual event.
