Everyone knows that San Franciscans are total foodies, so they really know their stuff when it comes to choosing a place to eat out! We asked our Instagram followers for their best pancake recommendations in the city. They didn’t disappoint, and below we’ve rounded up the 10 most popular responses.

1. PLOW

This rustic, farm-to-table restaurant brings a minimalist approach to breakfast and lunch. They offer Annie’s almond flour pancakes, which are gluten free, as well as delicious lemon ricotta pancakes made with house made ricotta.

This family restaurant in the Castro takes influence from a variety of cultures in South America and Asia. Try their Ricotta Hotcakes with their famous Millionaire’s Bacon.

This contemporary Japanese cafe specializes in those tall, fluffy pancakes we’re all obsessed with on Instagram! They have sweet and savory flavors including original, oreo, matcha and strawberry. Their French toast is also definitely worth a try.
