San Francisco’s public transit is totally iconic, from the cable cars to the ferries to, of course, the Muni buses. In the wake of Marvel’s recent hit, Shang-Chi, San Franciscans everywhere are still buzzing over the epic Muni bus fight scene that takes place between the titular Shang-Chi (Simu Liu) and Razor Fist (Florian Munteanu). Seeing an amazingly choreographed, classic Marvel fight scene in a setting as familiar as our daily commute was nothing short of miraculous.
A Muni bus driver with the twitter handle @that_mc recently did a deep dive into this iconic scene, providing hilarious commentary that has gone viral for its funny quips and diligent explanations of air brakes, among other things. Check out some of our favorite parts:
