You can get a 3-course meal for about $45 at State Bird Provisions!
Calling all foodies who love a good bargain! San Francisco restaurant State Bird Provisions, which has one Michelin star, recently appeared on a list of “The Cheapest Michelin Meals in the World” by Top Dollar, a blog from Accredited Debit Relief. Top Dollar listed restaurants based on the price for a three-course meal, as well as the cheapest 100 overall.
Not only was State Bird Provisions the cheapest Michelin-starred restaurant in the US, but it ranked as #19 out of the cheapest 100 Michelin-starred restaurants in the world. Only 3 other US-based restaurants made that list: #27 was Tuome, a fusion restaurant in New York; #75 was Claro, a Mexican restaurant also in New York, and #92 was Tail Up Goat, a contemporary restaurant in Washington. The US’s cheapest 3-star restaurant was Le Bernardin in New York city, where a 4-course meal will run you $180, according to their website.
State Bird Provisions, helmed by Chef Proprietors Stuart Brioza and Nicole Krasinski, has an exquisite, ever-changing selection of unique American cuisine. It started out specializing in quail dishes, but has since evolved greatly.
