This September, Collect-A-Con is coming to the Bay Area, bringing together a vast selection of trading cards across anime and pop culture together for a two-day event. The convention makes multiple stops across the United States, including Chicago, Los Angeles, and Atlanta. Collect-A-Con will take over the San Mateo County Convention Center on September 12-13, 2026.
The convention features over 900 exhibitors, stocked with trading cards and collectibles from iconic stories like Star Wars, One Piece, Pokémon, and more. Dealers will have comic books, collectible items, Funko POP!s, video games, vintage toys, and sports cards. Along with the many vendors, attendees can expect panels, photo ops, and even celebrity appearances. All panels take place on Sunday, September 13, and the schedule is yet to be released. Along with celebrity appearances, the convention will host some special guests, including a performance from Waka Flocka Flame, a meet-and-greet with Bryce Papenbrook, and more.
Tickets for the convention start at $38.07 for single-day, general admission on Sunday. Saturday tickets cost $43.22, and a two-day general admission pass is $58.67. You can also opt for a VIP fast pass for $120.47. Fast pass holders are allowed early entry at 9 am each day, while general admission can enter at 10 am. The convention runs from 10 am to 6 pm on Saturday, and 10 am to 5 pm on Sunday. Children 7 and under are offered free admission.
After the San Francisco event, the convention will move on to several other cities until the end of the year, notably Los Angeles in December.
