With Covid levels on the rise, it’s essential to be in the know about your testing options should you develop symptoms or come into contact with someone who has Covid-19. SF.gov has plenty of resources for getting tested in the city, which we’ve broken down here.

This map of San Francisco lists all the free and paid testing sites in the city, which you may filter by those requiring insurance, those that are closest to you, and more. Make sure to double-check holiday hours at the clinics.

Drop-in testing

  • Places open for drop-ins daily/almost daily:
  • Places open for drop-ins 1-2 days a week
    • Third Baptist Church (1399 McAllister), 11 am to 6 pm Tuesdays and Saturdays, 11am-8pm. Wednesday. Closed 1/1.
    • Bayview Opera House (4705 3rd Street): 9am-4pm Mondays and Thursdays.
    • GLIDE Memorial Church parking lot (330 Ellis Street), 10 am to 4 pm Tuesday-Wednesday.
    • 1099 Sunnydale Ave: 10am-2pm Mondays.
    • 20 Norton Street: 10am-6pm Mondays.
    • 90 Kiska Rd: 10am-3pm Tuesdays.
    • Treasure Island (Avenue D and 9th St Parking Lot between Childcare and Service Center), 10 am to 2 pm Tuesdays.
    • Treasure Island Nurse Clinic (749 9th Street), 2pm-6pm Tuesdays.
    • Portsmouth Square (745 Kearny St in Chinatown): 10 am to 5 pm Wednesdays.
    • 2055 Sunnydale Avenue: 10 am to 2 pm Wednesdays.
    • Mission Hub (19th Street and Alabama Street): 10 am to 3 pm Thursdays.
    • NOW Hunters Point (155 Jennings Street): 9 am to 4 pm Fridays.
