The holidays have officially arrived in San Francisco, with decorations throughout the city, ice-skating rinks, and numerous festive pop-up bars and activities. One of the popular holiday bars is back for 2025. The bar, called Deck the Halls, delights San Franciscans with creative drinks and a completely decked-out Christmas bar. This year, the bar has moved to a new pop-up location in the Castro and has even added a weekend brunch to its menu.

The bar is known for going all out with the charming Christmas decorations (just as you would expect) to create a fun experience for attendees. The drinks are the main event, with creative cocktails like a Snowball Spritz made with bubbles and cotton candy, or the Resting Grinch Face, which is made with matcha, honey, mezcal, and Irish whiskey. You can also try their version of an always-popular espresso martini, the Polar Express-O, made with cold brew and coffee tincture. Finally, we recommend trying the Chestnut Roast (On Fire) which comes with a whole egg chestnut syrup, and fire.

Deck the Halls also has a food menu, featuring dishes like Spicy Pumpkin Soup, Cesar salad, and sandwiches. Plus, you can get small bites like Brussels sprouts, charcuterie, and more. On weekends, the bar offers an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet for $37 featuring smoked salmon, French toast, scrambled eggs, baked goods, fruit, and more.
Deck the Halls is located at 2298 Market Street in San Francisco. The bar is open from 4 pm to midnight daily, and serves brunch from 11 am to 2 pm Friday through Sunday. The bar will be open until December 28. You can learn more here.
