Every month, several blocks in Downtown San Francisco are shut down to host a free street party that regularly draws thousands of San Franciscans. The Downtown First Thursdays event has been a major success since it first launched in 2024, hosting major performers like LaRussell and Toro y Moi. The free party will have its second-to-last event of 2025 this week, on Thursday, November 6.
The lineup for this month’s event includes headliner Inji, a singer-songwriter known for her viral singles “Gaslight” and “Madeline.” The singer first gained popularity when her singles went viral on TikTok in 2022, and she subsequently released an EP in 2023. Aside from her upcoming performance in San Francisco, she will play several shows in Australia in the next few months. Inji will perform on Thursday night at the main stage on Howard and 2nd street from 7:30 to 9 pm.

San Franciscans can also expect the street party to include a lively Discoteca with multiple DJs lined up throughout the night. The Natoma Cabana Dance Hall will host a live music jam, encouraging partygoers to pick up an instrument and join in on the fun. Later in the evening, you can expect a pop-up fashion show and dance party. Plus, the ever-popular curbside karaoke will return to Minna at 2nd Street.

The party is packed with free events, including screen printing, a silent disco, bingo, arts and craft stations, and more. Plus, there are three incredible San Francisco museums just a short walk from the event, and they offer free admission on Thursday evening. Before heading to the street party, you can check out the SFMOMA, MoAD, and YBCA.
Downtown First Thursdays happen on 2nd Street between Market and Howard in SF. The fun starts at 5 pm and ends at 10 pm. All ages are welcome at the event, and you do not need a ticket to enter.
