With the 2026 FIFA World Cup only one month away, there’s so much to look forward to here in the Bay Area! As residents of an official host city, locals are eyeing more than 30 fan zones and activations in and around San Francisco.
The Bay Area Host Committee has released an elaborate schedule of free World Cup events throughout SF, the East Bay, and more. Here’s a closer look.
Main ongoing 2026 FIFA World Cup fan zones
While World Cup screenings and events will be taking place at more than 30 venues in and around SF, the following are the main ongoing activations that will host events throughout the duration of the World Cup.
Head to these locations to catch live matches on giant screens, enjoy local food, and connect with fans from all over the world.
- June 11-July 19: San Francisco Fan Zone at Thrive City
- June 11-July 19: San Francisco Fan Zone at China Basin Park (Mission Rock)
- June 12-July 19: San Francisco Fan Zone at Pier 39
- June 19-July 11: Fan Zone at the Alameda County Fair
- June 11-July 19: San Jose Earthquakes Celebration of Soccer at San Pedro Square
