Go For Bourbon And Burgers In The Bright, Vintage Settings Of Fisher Loft

By Ashlyn Davis

Fisher Loft SF

How to spend a whole day in the bright new Palihotel eatery and liquor bar.

Step through the heavy, draped curtains into the bright loft-style settings of the new Palihotel spot. Seat yourself on the mid-century furniture, surrounded by floral wallpaper and filled with just the right amount of vintage granny pictures, while an all-day menu is served to you. If you had posh grandparents who owned a loft and served you burgers and bourbon, Fisher Loft would sum it up.

Start the morning with all the classics

Pull up a seat at the ‘Breakfast Bar’ where all your morning comforts (including a glass of milk) will be on offer, with à la carte coffee and juices for $15 per person, between 7am-9am every day. If you’re sleeping in, then the “House Blueberry Pancakes” or “American Breakfast” served until 3pm, should do the trick.

Tuck into posh burgers at lunch

Burgers but with caviar. That’s what lunch at this granny-chic dining room is all about. Sleek wooden boards with juicy stacks of egg, cheese and a patty, will be presented with a neat serving of pickles. If the hotel surroundings have you feeling fancy, then let your eyes drift down the menu to the “Money” where your burger will come with whiskey cheese or even caviar, if you wish.

Fill your afternoon with tea or even some champagne

If earl grey or chamomile tea served along with smoked salmon, finger sandwiches and petit fours don’t fit your Sunday mood, perhaps a bottomless brunch with champagne will?

Sink into the armchairs for a nightcap

The gorgeous wall of bottles isn’t just for display purposes. Let the talented, Fisher Loft mixologists serenade you, with milk-washed bourbon, live poetry, comedy and music, that often accompanies them.

Morning, noon and night, there is always something to enjoy at Fishers Loft.
