Make the most of your last month of “Fort Mason Flix.”
The pandemic brought the return of drive-in movies to San Francisco with the launch of Fort Mason Flix, a fun, popular, and family-friendly pop-up at Fort Mason Center. Well, all good things really must come to an end, as the Fort Mason Center has just revealed the grand finale of the drive-in series to SF Chronicle: alas, the fateful day is June 27.
As part of its June grand finale, Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture is hosting giveaways all month. They will give a free vehicle pass to one winner each Sunday, plus 2 Grand Prizes. They are the Golden Ticket (awarded June 1), which gives you free entry to any FLIX shows; and FLIX is Yours (awarded June 8), which allows you to invite up to 100 vehicles to a show of your choosing. To enter, follow Fort Mason Flix on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram, and tag your date!
“As our city and state fully reopen — and Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture (FMCAC) residents restart their arts and cultural programming — the time has come to bid FORT MASON FLIX a fond farewell. For months now, Fort Mason has screened a variety of films around 5:30pm and 8:30pm Tuesday through Sunday. Screenings have included everything from cult classics to modern blockbusters. Tickets cost $49 per vehicle.
