Yosemite National Park welcomes millions of visitors every year, with people drawn to its massive cliffs and incredible views. This spring, a luxury glamping resort is opening just a few minutes from the entrance of the iconic national park.
The Yosemite resort is the latest venture of Under Canvas, which operates glamping sites in parks and the outdoors across the United States. The Yosemite camp is their first location in California, and it opened just last weekend on April 16.

The campsite is nestled in 85 acres of mountains, just a few minutes from the entrance to Yosemite. The glamping resort has a total of 71 tents, with four different options for visitors. The accommodations range from tents that sleep two to the El Capitan Suite Tent that sleeps six and has two private bathrooms.
This isn’t your average campsite; every tent has a private bathroom, and you can expect comfortable amenities like king-sized beds in certain tents, bath products, onsite dining, and more. The resort even offers a yoga deck, perfect for stretching after a long hike.

The stylish tents are made of stylish white canvas and furnished by West Elm. Guests can also request housekeeping or access a 24-hour reception desk. Guests will also have access to a nearby swimming hole and numerous hiking trails in the area. Plus, visitors will have easy access to the park’s public transportation system.
The resort also offers on-site dining, with California-inspired food like seared salmon, various salads, shrimp tacos, and more. Under Canvas is currently open for the 2026 season, until October 26, 2026. You can learn more about Under Canvas Yosemite here.
