Yes, you read that right – Goat Yoga classes are on at Lemos Farm in Half Moon Bay, and that’s our cue to become extreme fitness enthusiasts! Take a deep breath and work your way through some relaxing yoga poses while these adorable baby goats keep you company. They’re known to perch on your back during Cat-Cow, keep your Downward Dog in tip-top shape by licking your toes, and snuggling up during Child’s Pose.
Lemos Farm’s all-ages Goat Yoga classes comprise 45 minutes of yoga with goats, followed by 15 minutes of petting zoo fun where participants can feed and brush the goats. About 15 goats will be roaming around during the outdoor class, which is designed for all ages and all abilities. Expect plenty of laughs and cuddles throughout the experience, which is totally extraordinary whether you’re a skillful yogi or just looking for a unique adventure.
Public classes take place on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am-11am and 11:30am-12:30pm. Classes are $35 for the Goat Yoga alone, but for $45 you can have access to the rest of Lemos Farm’s activities, which include a train ride, hay ride, petting zoo, haunted house, and more. Just bring a yoga mat or beach towel and plan to arrive 10 minutes before the class begins. Goat Yoga is also available for private and corporate events.
