Half Moon Bay is a charming coastal town just 40 minutes away from San Francisco. The town is known for its beautiful views, and it regularly hosts wholesome events. This May, the town will host a wine and Jazz festival, featuring 40 California wineries.
The wine and jazz festival will take place on Saturday, May 9, from 12 to 5 pm. The festival will take over the town’s historic Main Street, with the numerous wineries in attendance and jazz musicians performing.

- Jesús Diaz Y Su QBA: The percussionist and vocalist will perform Afro-Cuban music with jazz and funk influences ideal for dancing.
- Marcus Shelby Nonet: Birth of the Cool Revisited: The group will perform music from Miles Davis’ iconic Birth of the Cool.
- Stella Heath: From Billie Holiday to Edith Piaf: Audiences can expect Billie Holiday and Edith Piaf songs from Vocalist Stella Heath during the festival.
- Rabiah Kabir: A local flutist, Kabir will perform contemporary jazz at the festival.
Aside from the 40 wineries in attendance, you can also expect food and beer vendors, including Fire & Slice Pizza, Sage Bakehouse, Lilo’s Kitchen, and more. Head to the Beer and Cider Garden to try local breweries like Devil’s Canyon Brewing, Hop Dogma Brewing Co, and Santa Cruz Cider Company.
A ticket to the festival includes unlimited tastings from wineries and a commemorative glass. General admission tickets are $68, and VIP tickets are $175, with access to a lounge with more wine tastings and small bites.
