San Francisco’s Davies Symphony Hall will host the final installment of the global Harry Potter Film Concert Series, featuring Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows – Part 2. A full symphony orchestra will perform Alexandre Desplat’s Grammy-nominated score live, accompanying the film as it plays in high definition on a 40-foot screen.
San Francisco will get to enjoy the performance next summer at 1 pm on Saturday, August 8, and Sunday, August 9, 2026. But look sharp, because tickets go on sale on Friday, August 22, 2025, via BroadwaySF.

A new way to experience Harry Potter
The Harry Potter Film Concert Series comes courtesy of Warner Bros. Discover Global Experiences and CineConcerts, and will be presented by BroadwaySF in San Francisco. It’s the only official global concert tour dedicated to the Harry Potter films, beginning in 2016 with Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone. Since then, over 3 million fans have turned out to catch these concerts in 48 countries around the world.
A talented symphony orchestra will play Alexandre Desplat’s Grammy-nominated score live alongside the film. The epic and emotional finale is made even more heart-wrenching with this live performance of the unmistakably familiar melodies, which pay tribute to previous series composers John Williams and Nicholas Hooper.

“It is with great pleasure that we bring fans for the first time ever an opportunity to experience the award-winning music scores played live by a symphony orchestra, all while the beloved film is simultaneously projected onto the big screen,” said CineConcerts president Justin Freer.
More film concert opportunities
In addition to the cultural phenomenon of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series, CineConcerts presents numerous other live film concert productions all over the world. Some popular ones include The Godfather, Gladiator, and The Da Vinci Code, as well as holiday films like Elf and The Polar Express.
If you can’t wait until 2026, CineConcerts will also present Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban in concert this fall in Sacramento. You can still get tickets for performances on October 17 and 18, 2025.
