A wildly popular pop-up Hello Kitty Cafe Truck is returning to Northern California this August. The truck is known for selling themed treats and limited-edition merch, often drawing large crowds of fans to locations across the West Coast. The truck has made regular stops in the Bay Area and Northern California in past years, and a new Hello Kitty Cafe even opened in Santa Clara in 2025.
What can you buy at the Hello Kitty Cafe truck?
The truck is currently celebrating it’s 10th anniversary, which means you can expect plenty of exciting merch. Iridescent tote bags, anniversary t-shirts and sweatshirts, and collectible mugs, key chains, cute plush toys, and more will all be available. You can also try some famous themed treats, such as macaron sets and a and madeleines. The truck is always popular due to it’s adorable merch and themed treats, so expect a small line.
What is the Hello Kitty Cafe Truck’s schedule?
The iconic truck is making a brief stop in the Bay Area this January, starting with Fremont on January 17. Then on January 24, the truck will be at the The Shops at Tanforan on San Bruno from 10 am to 7 pm. While the truck is only doing a short tour this winter, you can expect to see it again later in the year.
