This beloved annual event drops you into a 140,000-square-foot Victorian London, brought to life by hundreds of costumed players and a plethora of shops, stages, pubs, parties, and memorable performances. 2. Enchant San Jose

When it comes to holiday light displays in the Bay Area, it’s hard to beat this enormous Christmas maze and ice skating rink in San Jose. Enchant is essentially a massive glittering winter wonderland rife with photo opportunities, fun activities, and a winter village full of artisan-made gifts.
3. Creativity Explored Holiday Pop-Up
Saturdays Nov. 25-Dec. 16, 2023 – Ferry Building, San Francisco
This beloved market features original drawings, paintings, ceramics and more by neurodiverse and disabled Bay Area artists. This is the third annual event and artists earn income directly from each sale.
4. Menagerie Yuletide Oddities Market
Saturdays, Nov. 25-Dec. 30 – Winchester Mystery House, San Jose
A special holiday market devoted to occult products including antique items, taxidermy, one-of-a-kind collectibles, medical specimens, and natural science specimens. Take a tour of the Winchester Mystery House while you’re at it.
5. Dear Handmade Life Patchwork Show

6. Head West Marketplace
This market pops up in locations around the Bay Area through the holiday season. They celebrate creators and artists as well as small brands, local shops, and local non-profits.

7. Telegraph Avenue Holiday Street Fair
Weekends Dec. 9-24, 2023 – Telegraph Ave, Berkeley
Over 200 local artisans will take over Telegraph Ave between Dwight and Bancroft near the UC Berkeley campus. This is the 40th annual fair complete with fun decorations and a multicultural shopping atmosphere.
8. Winter Walk in Union Square
Dec. 15-24, 2023 – Stockton Street from Post to O’Farrell, San Francisco
This popular Union Square holiday tradition is back due to popular demand after a pandemic hiatus. Explore two pedestrian-only blocks in Downtown SF with food trucks, a beer garden, family activities, and entertainment. Vendors are TBA but should include gift items as well as food and drink.

9. Holiday Market at Embarcadero Center
Nov. 29, 2023 – Three Embarcadero Center, Urban Patio
Embarcadero Center hosts its first holiday market on Wednesday, Nov. 29 from 2-5pm. Guests can enjoy holiday cocktails and beverages while supporting Embarcadero Center retailers, and grab a photo with Santa between 3-4pm.
10. Berkeley Holiday Gift Fair
Nov. 30, 2023 – Hotel Shattuck Plaza, Berkeley
Explore 25 retailers at Hotel Shattuck Plaza from 3-7pm at this Thursday market run by the Berkeley Chamber. Take advantage of complimentary eco-friendly gift wrapping from Rotary Club of Berkeley while you’re there.
11. CCSF Holiday Bazaar and Demo Day
Nov. 30, 2023 – City College of San Francisco, Ocean Campus
CCSF’s Center for Entrepreneurship partners with the Renaissance Entrepreneurship Center for this lovely holiday craft fair supporting local small businesses and student vendors.
12. Gamble Garden Winter Festival
Nov. 30-Dec. 2, 2023 – Gamble Garden, Palo Alto
This beautiful Palo Alto garden will be decked out in holiday lights for its Winter Festival featuring an adults-only grand opening on Nov. 30, Santa visits on Dec. 1, and a family holiday tea on Dec. 2. The holiday marketplace will be open all weekend long.
13. Pacifica Polar Palooza and Elf Market
Dec. 1-3, 2023 – Pacifica Community Center, Pacifica
The Pacifica Community Center presents an elaborate weekend of holiday festivities including a “Winter Elf Market.” The market takes place only on Friday and Saturday, but other events throughout the weekend include caroling, a building lighting, a tree lighting, photos with Santa, and free pony rides.
14. 51st Annual Dance Palace Artisan Craft & Holiday Market
Explore this free market in Point Reyes with vendors selling local food and treasures to benefit the Dance Palace community.
15. West Coast Craft
Dec. 2 & 16, 2023 – Fort Mason Center, San Francisco

25. Muir Beach Holiday Arts Fair
