The Filoli estate and gardens are decorated for another season, and they’re more magical than ever.
Each year, Filoli Historic House fills its gardens with festive decor and holiday cheer, and this year is no exception. Now until January 3, visitors can come to calm their minds and soak in some much needed holiday cheer.
Holidays at Filoli is a beautiful local tradition hosted each year. Guests can explore the large estate boasting 16 acres of formal gardens, exquisitely manicured and embellished with twinkling lights and colorful wreaths. There are even fire pits where you can cozy up next to loved ones as you take in the breathtaking views!
The gardens are something out of a storybook, framed with brick walls, gravel paths, clipped hedges and beautiful reflecting pools. It’s an utterly magical setting only made more gorgeous by the glow of festive lights.
Before heading home, be sure to stop by the Clock Tower Shop for all kinds of holiday gifts and knick-knacks! Capacity indoors will be limited, and outdoor shopping will also be available.
Due to Covid restrictions, there will be no seasonal snacks or festive beverages available. The historic house is also currently closed, but visitors can still enjoy its famous Georgian Revival architecture from outside.
Admission for this amazing holiday event is available for during the day or the evening. Daytime tickets are for 10am – 4pm, with evening tickets for 4pm – 8pm. Tickets start at $28 for adults and $15 for children (aged 5-17), with discounts for members.
Masks are required on site, capacity is limited to ensure safe social distancing, and sanitation protocols have been enhanced.
