Feng Shui Class (2/18)
If you’re ready for a refresh in the new year, join Daoist designer Ashley Nguyen on February 18 at 12pm and 2:30pm to learn all about how Feng Shui practices can transform your living space.
Feng Shui is an ancient Chinese concept describing how human life connects to and flows with the natural world surrounding it. In modern Western societies, it’s often applied to the idea that our homes are connected to our internal state and that positive energy flow can be achieved by organizing the spaces around us.
Ashely is bringing her expertise to Market Street to teach IKEA Family members how our spaces can be more aligned with the proper energy flow and goals for the year. This will be an hour-long presentation, so come ready to participate.
Dragon and Lion Dance Performance (2/19)
As recently seen on America’s Got Talent, local dance troupe LionDanceME is giving IKEA Market Street visitors a free Dragon and Lion Dance performance on February 19. The troupe recently competed in a world lion dance championship in Malaysia, making history with the first female Western Lion King title winner. Head to the store’s lobby from 3-3:30pm to enjoy their very special showcase – a long-standing Chinese tradition to usher good luck in the new year!
