Downtown First Thursdays is one of San Francisco’s most popular events, turning several blocks in Downtown SF into a giant free party and dance floor. The free block parties always feature a main musical act, with past headliners including Toro y Moi, Rebecca Black, and more.
Now, Downtown First Thursdays has announced that Janelle Monáe is set to headline the June block party on Thursday, June 4. The iconic musician will perform on the Art Car Stage on Second and Howard Street during the free event, and her DJ set will start at 7 pm.
