The Downtown SF Partnership is bringing back Let’s Glow SF for its fifth annual rendition this winter!
From December 5-14, 2025, the city’s Financial District will be transformed with glowing art and light projections to celebrate the holiday season.
Let’s Glow SF is completely free to experience from 5:30 to 10pm each evening. This year also includes a few kick-off events and more festivities — keep reading for details.

The largest holiday projection mapping show in the United States
Let’s Glow SF showcases work from 19 world-class artists and international visual design companies, each of whom lends a distinct interpretation of the holiday season to their massive canvases.
Some works play on the architecture of the buildings themselves. Belgian artist Glitch presents Aeva at the Pacific Exchange, where you can watch an ethereal deity of winter redrawing the building with frost and ice. Whereas Jacob Stephens, a local artist from San Rafael, turns all of the Let’s Glow buildings into larger-than-life gingerbread houses.
Other installations use the buildings as a canvas for compelling visual storylines. Indonesian team Bandung presents The Fox, The Folks at the Ferry Building, which follows a lone fox through a journey of celebration and renewal. And French team Les Ateliers BK’s Bay of Light explores the heritage of the East Cut coastline, projected onto the facade of the PG&E Substation on Folsom Street.

Let’s Glow SF kick-off celebrations
On December 5th, the first night of Let’s Glow SF, attendees can join several free celebrations at the Ferry Building.
The event kicks off with a “Countdown to Glow” at Harry Bridges Plaza beginning at 6 pm, culminating in the ceremonial “flipping the switch” at 7pm with city officials.
Guests are also welcome to attend “After Glow” on the South Plaza from 5-8pm with holiday music, festive decor, complimentary hot beverages, strolling drag performers, a pop-up holiday bar, and a free silent disco.
