San Francisco’s second “Fan March” of the World Cup kicks off tomorrow, June 18, ahead of Mexico’s match against South Korea.
The free, family-friendly event starts at Channel Wharf near Pier 48 and ends with a watch party at the San Francisco Fan Zone at Thrive City.
Here’s the expected Soccer Watch Party and Fan March schedule, per the Bay Area Host committee site:
June 18, 2026: Soccer Watch Party: Mexico vs. South Korea
- 4:30 p.m. – Pre-march festivities begin at Channel Wharf (next to Shed B, by the Pier 48 Ferry Dock, just north of Atwater Tavern). Expect live music, activities, and giveaways!
- 5:00 p.m. – The Fan March departs Channel Wharf, led by a marching band and spirit leaders, heading toward Thrive City — Tip: the first 250 Soccer Fan March attendees at the plaza’s gatehouse will have a reserved seating area held for them.
- 6:00 p.m. – Kickoff! Mexico vs. South Korea, broadcast en español on Telemundo on Thrive City’s plaza screen.
The evening will continue with celebrating Mexican Heritage Night with a live mariachi band and themed food and beverage from Thrive City restaurants!
Guests who are over 21 years of age can purchase to-go alcoholic drinks from participating Thrive City businesses to enjoy within the designated Entertainment Zone. Expect giveaways and photo ops.
