Get ready to be transported back to the 70s with plenty of funk, disco, and mustaches. The Mustache Bash is coming up from San Diego to San Francisco. The two-day event will feature a packed lineup of funky music. The weekend event will take place September 15 and 16, starting in the afternoon through the evening.
The Mustache Bash had a humble start. A few friends, an iPod, and a love for the ’70s ignited the idea for a house party filled with throwback music, iconic costumes, and prime ‘70s mustaches everywhere. From there, the bash grew to a 70s festival with funky musicians, great venues, and even more people ready to break out their best dance moves.
The bash is for everyone, and the event fosters a friendly community brought together by a love for disco and a really impressive mustache.

The perfect venue for the throwback event
The first San Francisco bash needs the right venue, and the Phoenix Hotel is the perfect spot. The hotel is an iconic spot for musicians and creatives over the years. Everyone from David Bowie to Curt Kobain stayed in the colorful hotel. Located in the Tenderloin, the hotel was originally built in 1956 as a motor court hotel and remodeled in 1987. The design makes it easy to reminisce about all the musicians and public figures who stayed at the legendary hotel. The bar, restaurant, pool, and spacious courtyard make it perfect for hosting events like the Mustache Bash.
