The beautiful Meritage Resort & Spa in Napa is hosting an absolutely spectacular winter village throughout the holiday season. Merry Meritage is a gorgeous sparkling winter escape in wine country, complete with an ice rink, fire pits and s’mores, VIP igloos, Santa story time, and much more. Ice Rink
This lovely glittering ice rink is open now through January 8. Guests can enjoy a beer or wine rink-side and reserve igloos and fire pits nearby. Tickets are $25 (all ages) for 90 minutes of skate time, including skate rental.
VIP Igloos
Luxury transparent igloos add to a unique group ice skating experience for up to 6 people. Sip a bottle of bubbles in this warm and comfortable refuge next to the rink! Price for a 2-hour rental is $200 Monday-Thursday and $250 Friday-Sunday, skating not included.
Fire pits
Enjoy your drink or take a break from ice skating around a cozy fire pit. Fire pits for 5 guests cost $175 for 2 hours Monday-Thursday and $200 Friday-Sunday, s’mores kit included. Ice skating is not included.
Events
- Tree lighting (Nov. 25, 4-6pm): Watch the glittering Christmas tree get illuminated during an evening with carolers, an artisan market, entertainment by the Chicago Transit Authority (CTA), and Santa visits. Don’t forget to bring a new unwrapped toy to donate to the toy drive. Free admission, RSVP required.
- Santa visits and reading time: A wholesome children’s series happening on Friday and Saturday afternoons.
- New Year’s Eve party (Dec. 31, 10pm-1:30am): Enjoy a balloon drop, party favors, a champagne toast, and performances from the band Pop Fiction.
- Dining experiences: Meritage will also host several luxurious meals including a New Year’s Day Brunch, a Christmas Brunch, Thanksgiving feasts, a Tinsel Tea, and more.
