NBA All-Star weekend is quickly approaching next month in San Francisco, with Basketball fans eagerly awaiting the packed weekend. Adding to the excitement, the NBA recently announced Zedd and The Chainsmokers were scheduled to headline the weekend.
How to get tickets for the NBA All-Star Weekend
The weekend is always packed with festive activities for fans, with the main event culminating in the All-Star game. While the game may be a major draw for the weekend, there are still plenty of events for fans to enjoy throughout the festival. You can get tickets to all the events on the Golden State Warriors website or the NBA website. Tickets for events are known to sell out, so we recommend reserving your spot at events as soon as you can.
How much do NBA All-Star tickets cost?
Ticket costs will vary depending on the event. For example, Zedd’s show on Friday, February 14, is offering tickets starting at $150. Meanwhile, a package including tickets for the game starts at $999.
Are tickets still available for NBA All-Star Weekend?
Yes, you can still buy tickets, but they’re going fast. We recommend booking any experience as early as you can.
When is NBA All-Star Weekend?
The weekend festival kicks off on Friday, February 14th, and ends on Sunday, the 16th. The All-Star Game is scheduled at Chase Center on Sunday, February 16.
How to win free tickets
Tickets for the game are notoriously expensive, often costing over a thousand dollars. Fortunately, there is a chance you could win a free ticket to the game, along with entry to other events.
The NBA Events app, often used to purchase tickets, offers a way to win prizes when you engage with the app. Under the “explore” tab, you can “check-in” in order to enter the contest. The app is mixed reality, meaning it utilizes your camera app and offers digital games on your phone when you’re playing. Players can check-in at participating locations; the more check-ins you have, the more prizes you can win.
Prizes include a ticket to NBA Crossover, a gift card to the NBA Store, and even a ticket to the celebrity game in Oakland. For 74 check-ins, you could win a ticket to the All-Star Saturday Night or the game on Sunday. Reaching a check-in goal doesn’t guarantee a prize; it just enters you into each specific contest. The biggest prize is, of course, tickets to the main event. Luckily, even if you only check-in once, you’ll still be entered to win.
The app also partners with SF Transit, allowing players to check-in along their typical routes for a chance to win prizes through each transit agency. The game will be available until February 16, the end of the All-Star Weekend.
