The historic San Francisco Mint, located in the heart of the city, may no longer produce currency, but the space is now being utilized as a popular event venue. The Mint regularly hosts concerts on the secluded patio, and a popular party is now returning to the space. This New Year’s Eve, the SF Mint will host a massive party called New Bohemia. The party is in its 12th year in San Francisco and features numerous unique experiences.
The party will span multiple rooms, with numerous DJs lined up for the night, a silent disco at the patio, and even a “clown strip club.” Partygoers can expect 23 different environments throughout, including small lounges, mini clubs, a rave room, and more. There will be a total of five dance floors with DJs and live music, and even karaoke.

New Bohemia is a collaboration between the Vau de Vire Society and Opel Productions. The Vau de Vire Society is a circus and cabaret group that has been performing in San Francisco for over 20 years. You can expect over a dozen cirque performers at the party, along with talented vertical performers from Flux Vertical, live DJs, and more. If that isn’t enough, the party also includes art galleries and tarot readings.
The party will cover two floors, the main level and the vault level, with numerous rooms available for guests to explore. Doors open at 9 pm, and the party will end at 3:15. You can expect cash bars throughout the party, and be sure to bring your ID for entry as the event is 21+. Tickets are still on sale, and start at $142.58 including fees.
