On the first Friday of every month, one of San Francisco’s most popular neighborhoods hosts a lively art crawl, night market, and block party. North Beach First Fridays brings many eager San Franciscans to the already bustling neighborhood, with local businesses hosting unique performances, art exhibits, and more.
North Beach First Fridays June 2026
The next North Beach First Friday is on June 5, 2026. Festivities start around 5 pm and end at approximately 10 pm, but you can still expect many bars in the neighborhood to be packed until later in the night. Some highlights for this month’s event include live music at the historic Caffe Trieste, Italian jazz with The Mina Project at French bar Paris 75, and poetry readings on the lawn of Coit Tower.
For fans of art, head to Vesuvio Cafe to see work by Barbara Wyeth, and the cozy wine bar Waystone will feature art by Sue Yardimci. Plus, Fish Tank will have screen prints for sale on Grant Avenue. We also recommend stopping by Club Fugazi, which will host an open house with tours every 15 minutes. You can also see the famed acrobats training before the evening performance.
