Project Hail Mary, the dazzling new space epic starring Ryan Gosling, is returning to just two Bay Area screens this week in IMAX 70mm!
The movie was shot with IMAX in mind, so only a handful of premium theaters can deliver the format’s towering image, thunderous sound, and ultra-sharp 70mm clarity the way the filmmakers intended.
Earlier 70mm engagements were limited to a brief three-day run ahead of the film’s March 30 release, making those showings especially hard to catch.
Now, IMAX has revealed that 70mm screenings will be back for a limited one-week engagement starting Friday, April 17, with some theaters adding 70mm shows as early as April 15.
