Head over to Salesforce Park‘s rooftop amphitheater for an energetic afternoon of live Big Band Jazz this Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 12:30 to 2:30pm!
The free concert invites San Franciscans to pull up a chair, spread out a picnic blanket, and enjoy a relaxing summer afternoon 70 feet above the city streets.
Big Band Jazz in the Sky
The Morchestra Big Band will play an engaging 2-hour show at the Amphitheater, turning the park’s leafy green rooftop into an open-air jazz club. Guests can bring a blanket or low chair and set up on the grass to enjoy the free, all-ages concert. No tickets are required to enjoy the show; just bring yourself and perhaps a picnic.
Perched atop the Salesforce Transit Center at 425 Mission Street, Salesforce Park is a 5.4‑acre rooftop oasis featuring walking paths, lush gardens, and sweeping skyline views. The park sits 70 feet above street level and is known for its gondola access, curated plant collections, and a steady calendar of community programming that keeps the space lively from morning through evening.
More summer events at Salesforce Park
The Big Band Jazz concert is just one highlight in a packed summer season of events at Salesforce Park.
From August 21–23, Rooftop Rhythms Weekend will celebrate the eighth birthday of the Salesforce Transit Center with a three-day festival of live music, food, craft beer, and community partners like Noise Pop, FREE TECHNO, the Bay Area Brewers Guild, and Barebottle Brewing Company.
Year-round, the park also hosts weekly free events like Toddler Tuesday and Family Storytime, free fitness classes including yoga, Zumba, and bootcamp, plus arts workshops, drum circles, live music series, and nature walks—offering a different reason to return almost every day of the week.
