Salesforce Park is a rooftop oasis in the middle of Downtown, covering several city blocks. The rooftop park regularly hosts free events, including workout classes, children’s activities, and more. Along with the weekly events, San Franciscans can also expect special events throughout the year at the park, such as seasonal festivals and live concerts.
This weekend, the park is bringing live music to the scenic rooftop. Here’s what to know about the exciting free concert.
Free jazz at Salesforce Park

This Saturday, the park will host an 18-piece jazz band for a 2-hour concert. The show, called Big Band Jazz, will take place on Saturday, May 9, from 12:30 to 2:30 pm. The Electric Squeezebox Orchestra is performing, comprised of local jazz musicians who arrange and perform the original music.
The free, outdoor concert is first-come, first-served in the park, and we recommend bringing a picnic blanket to comfortably enjoy the show. Plus, you can explore the massive rooftop park after the show through the scenic walking trail that leads you through the various gardens and sections in the park.
The concert is just one of several upcoming events at the park, including a performance by Scottish Fiddlers on May 30. The show will feature the San Francisco Scottish Fiddlers, a string orchestra that will play Scottish songs. On May 23, you can also look forward to a performance from Helen Dance Academy to celebrate AAPI month.
