Tecate’s ALTA Sinfónica concert at SF’s Herbst Theater blends hip hop, regional Mexican, and dancehall sounds for an unforgettable night of live music on October 1st.
This performance will be led by Mexican-American conductor and founder of the San Francisco Philharmonic, Jessica Bejarano, and feature performances from some of today’s hottest Latin artists like Latin Grammy-nominated rapper Snow Tha Product, Oscar Cortez, and Los Rakas.
ALTA Sinfónica is a convergence of classic and contemporary sounds that blur boundaries and embrace cultural complexity.
Jessica Bejarano is an influential and groundbreaking conductor who founded and serve as musical director for the SF Philharmonic. She has been a guest conductor in Russia, Italy, Romania, Bulgaria, the Czech Republic, Spain, Venezuela, and throughout the United States. Bejarano has also been featured on NBC’s Today Show, the PBS News Hour Weekend, KQED Arts, and was one of twelve female conductors selected from around the world to attend and conduct at the International Women’s Conference in New York City.
All proceeds from ticket sales will directly benefit the San Francisco Philharmonic.
ALTA Sinfónica will take place at 7:30pm on October 1st at the Herbst Theater, 401 Van Ness Ave, San Francisco. Tickets are on sale now for $25 and go up to $40 on the day of the event.
