Next week, SFMOMA is hosting a rooftop party complete with drinks, bites to eat, and live performances. The event is one of the museum’s popular Rooftop Radio series, and this edition is focused on K-pop. The party is the perfect opportunity to explore the museum, see local performers, and even catch the latest exhibition, RM x SFMOMA: Between You and Me.
SFMOMA Rooftop Party: K-pop edition
On Thursday, October 15, SFMOMA will stay open late for an exciting after-hours party. The event will feature multiple performances focused on K-pop, along with a drag showcase hosted by Sassi Fran.
Attendees can also look forward to a photo booth and toploader decorating. On the fourth floor, you can find art-making activities inspired by the museum’s latest exhibition. When booking tickets, attendees can add admission to the recently opened Between You and Me, which is a collaboration between BTS star RM and SFMOMA featuring over 100 pieces from RM’s personal collection.
Tickets to the party also grant admission to the museum’s many galleries. Tickets to RM x SFMOMA are selling fast, so this is the perfect opportunity to see the exhibition while enjoying live music and performances. Tickets for Rooftop Radio start at $35 and are $50 to attend the party and the RM x SFMOMA exhibition.
The party will run from 5:30 to 9 pm on Thursday in the art museum’s rooftop sculpture garden on the fifth floor.
