Have you been dreaming of a trip to London? You’re in luck because Norse Atlantic Airways has just released its Summer 2023 schedule which offers non-stop flights as low as $184.
Norse Atlantic is launching this new SFO-London route on July 1, along with rolling out direct service to LA, DC, and Boston throughout the summer.
The airline uses the Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft exclusively for these long-haul flights.
Norse touts the Dreamliner’s relaxed and comfortable atmosphere as the perfect long-haul aircraft. Some of the planes unique features include a quieter cabin, advanced air filtration, and significantly lower cabin pressure, which causes passengers to experience fewer headaches and less dizziness and fatigue, according to Boeing.
This low-cost long-haul airline sees itself as a disruptor in the airline industry.
“I am very pleased that we are fulfilling our pledge to create competition in the transatlantic market that will benefit consumers, stimulate business travel and lead to job creation on both sides of the Atlantic,” commented Bjorn Tore Larsen, CEO of Norse Atlantic Airways.
It’s worth noting that a trip from Heathrow Airport is 16 miles from Downtown London, compared to Gatwick which sits 28 miles from Downtown. A car ride can take up to 30 minutes longer for Gatwick than Heathrow, but public transit is about equal, roughly an hour.
If you’re willing to endure a slightly longer car or train ride in exchange for a highly discounted flight then keep an eye on these Norse Atlantic flights.
