Restaurateur and best-selling cookbook author Ayesha Curry and celebrity chef Michael Mina helm this massively popular SoMa steakhouse specializing in international grilling techniques. They offer both an in-house Thanksgiving dinner and a Thanksgiving at Home for 4-6 people, perfect for an intimate family dinner.
The menu includes a roasted turkey with gravy and cranberry sauce, sourdough stuffing with sausage, roasted garlic mashed potatoes, green bean casserole, several starters including roasted cauliflower and shrimp cocktail, a pumpkin pie with five spice whipped cream, and spiced tea sachets for an after-dinner drink.

Palette Tea House is known for serving a wide variety of delicious dim sum, and it’s a great option for those of us seeking a non-traditional Thanksgiving in San Francisco. They’re currently taking reservations for indoor and outdoor tables from 11am-8pm on Thanksgiving day. Although there’s no set Thanksgiving menu available online, you can bet on some decadent soup dumplings and pillowy bao highlighting seasonal ingredients.

5. The Cavalier
The Cavalier is offering a dine-in, four-course, prix-fixe menu with a first-course choice of salad, seafood bisque, smoked duck breast, or beef carpaccio; and a second-course choice of porcini gnocchi, pan-seared black cod, herb-marinated turkey breast, or brasied beef short rib. The remaining courses have a robust selection of sides and desserts to complete your meal.

6. Tommy’s Joynt
Tommy’s Joynt is a tried-and-true restaurant for Thanksgiving dinner in San Francisco that many locals swear by every year. What’s great about Tommy’s is their wide variety of take-home meal items which you can customize for any-size group. Items range from a pound of hand-carved turkey for $35 to a whole turkey dinner pack feeding 8-10 people for $300. You can also pick and choose to-go sides like stuffing, green beans, candied sweet potato, gravy, and pumpkin pie.

One Market is an upscale restaurant on the Embarcadero offering dine-in and take-out Thanksgiving meals this year. The $95 dine-in option is a four-course dinner with your choice of white bean soup or salads; a main course of either turkey, pork loin, or branzino; and desserts including apple pie, chocolate bread pudding, or a pumpkin tart. The to-go menu includes a caramelized pear and arugula salad, roasted Diestel turkey, cornbread-sausage stuffing, and a pumpkin tart.

If you decide to opt for a vegetarian menu, the main proteins will be switched for butternut squash lasagna and brussels sprout casserole. Alternatively, you can order any of the menu items separately and prepare them at home along with your own dishes.
