The Castro Theater reopened this winter, after 2 years of renovations and restoration. Since reopening, the iconic theater has had a packed lineup of concerts, comedy, and film screenings. The venue just announced a particularly exciting (and nostalgic) live concert this fall, featuring the music from the animated sitcom Hey Arnold!.
Hey Arnold! Live at the Castro Theater
On Tuesday, November 24, 2026, the Castro Theater will host a live concert featuring the musical score from Hey Arnold!, with the PS 118 AllStars. The concert will be led by composer Jim Lang, who created the score for Hey Arnold!. Lang will be joined by the series creator Craig Bartlett, and attendees can expect to hear their favorite songs from the show accompanied by visuals and stories from the show.
The show starts at 8 pm, and doors will open at 7 pm. Tickets will go on presale on August 20, and we recommend getting yours soon.
The concert is celebrating the 30th anniversary of Hey Arnold!, which premiered on Nickelodeon in 1996. The show follows a 4th-grade student, Arnold, who lives with his grandparents. The anniversary concert will make stops in several other cities, including Los Angeles, Boston, and New York.
