San Francisco’s skyline goes great with artisan cocktails, it turns out! The View Lounge has the best of both, because it’s located high above the city on the Marriott Marquis’ 39th floor. The best part about this lounge is the enormous half-moon-shaped window that stretches floor-to-ceiling, affording 180-degree views of the surrounding city skyline.
The View Lounge serves a lovely menu of small plates and tapas alongside their handcrafted cocktails. Favorites include a well-stocked charcuterie board, yellowfin tuna poke with wonton chips, and a chocolate torte.
Popular drink options at The View Lounge are fine aged port, bourbon, the Skyline Punch, and the Loma Prieta. Don’t forget to take a look at their beer and wine menus – with 55 artisan beers to choose from, many of them local, beer lovers are well taken care of.
You can find The View Lounge on the 39th floor of the Marriott Marquis at 780 Mission Street. Seating is first-come, first-serve, so be sure to show up early for the best shot at one of those coveted window seats.
