Thrive City Brings The Party With Free Movie Nights, Concerts, And Fitness Classes
Summer brings a whole slew of activities across San Francisco, but Thrive City takes no prisoners with its unparalleled free lineup of outdoor movies, concerts, and more.
Head up, bargain hunters of San Francisco: Thrive City at Chase Center is the place to be all summer long! Take advantage of FREE activities including outdoor concerts and movie nights, fun fitness classes, health and wellness workshops, and comedy shows. Read on to start planning your next trip out to the Dogpatch.
This series of live music and comedy performances happens every other Friday night from 6-9pm. Expect food and drinks in a festival-style outdoor environment.
Friday, July 22: Mickey Guyton – Country music artist Mickey Guyton takes the stage alongside The Curtis Family C-Notes.
One Saturday a month from 3-7pm, Thrive City hosts a free movie night where guests are advised to BYOB (Bring Your Own Blanket). Enjoy cinema-themed food and drinks and an interactive kids’ zone with games, crafts, and body art. Thrive City’s screen is the only outdoor LED screen in the city, measuring 74 feet across with nearly 2.2 million pixels.
Kaiser Permanente presents this series of free fitness classes every Sunday from 10am-12pm and every Wednesday from 5:30pm-7:30pm. The classes are geared towards all levels and cover a range of activities from local instructors. Classes begin July 31, so stay tuned as we await more details.
One Sunday a month, Kaiser Permanente supplements its fitness classes with health and wellness days. Guests can peruse an artisan market with local vendors, live entertainment, a toddler gym, basketball courts courtesy of KP Sport Court, a kids’ wellness zone, and more. Health & Wellness Sundays will happen on July 31, August 28, September 11, and October 2.

In addition to these weekly events and activities, Thrive City’s permanent establishments are worth a visit on their own. The 11-acre complex houses popular restaurants and bars including Dumpling Time, Gott’s Roadside, Miller & Lux, Harmonic Brewing, and Philz Coffee. Not to mention the 10,000-square-foot Warriors shop with all the essentials for any Dubs fan.
