It’s official: the most wonderful time of the year has arrived!
Thanksgiving has passed, marking the unofficial start of the holiday season. And today, Ghirardelli Square is ringing in the season with a special pop-up holiday event.
From noon until 6pm, Fog City Flea will be hosting a Winter Wonderland market, where you can fulfill all your Black Friday needs and find all the gifts and stocking stuffers you could ever dream of. And of course, there will be plenty of treats and tasty Bay Area bites to indulge in along the way.
From 2pm until closing, there will be a self-guided tour of beautiful holiday trees uniquely designed by students at the Academy of Art. Let the trees ignite your holiday spirit, and maybe even inspire some ideas for decorating your own tree!
The trees will be on display in the square throughout the holiday season, but this evening will be especially spectacular. If you stick around until sundown (around 5pm), you can catch the square illuminate with magical holiday lights for the first time this season!
The market will be open for Black Friday today, November 27. So break out those holiday sweaters and get ready for some holiday cheer!
