TideFest 2026
On Saturday, September 19, The Riptide is hosting a free waterfront celebration with art and music. TideFest will take place on the Lower Great Highway from 1 to 9 p.m.
The free music festival and community party will feature a lineup of 10 performers across genres, including indie, blues, rock, Latin reggae, and more. The free festival will also include a market with local artists and a selection of local food vendors. TideFest is open to all ages (of course, if you would like a drink in The Riptide, be sure to bring your ID). The festival is a wonderful chance to enjoy the waterfront with live music and local art.
About The Riptide

The Riptide is known for its regular live music and cozy atmosphere, and has been a favorite among San Franciscans since it opened over 20 years ago. Plus, it was recently crowned one of the best dive bars in the country. Inside, you can find a crackling fireplace, eclectic decor, and a small stage that hosts local bands. Located just a block from Ocean Beach, the bar is in a quiet but charming part of the Outer Sunset. Community events like TideFest aren’t new for The Riptide, which always hosts an after-party for brave New Year’s Day polar plunge participants.
