The Golden Gate Park Bandshell regularly hosts free concerts featuring local musicians, ranging from singer-songwriters to reggae. Next weekend, on Saturday, October 10, Monarch and Green Gorilla Lounge are hosting a free dance party called Electric Fields.

On Saturday, October 10, the bandshell will host a free concert and party. Electric Fields will take over the Bandshell from 1 to 6 pm, with an afterparty at Monarch starting at 7 pm. Attendees can expect multiple DJs, Reggae, and more throughout the afternoon.
Check out the full lineup for the afternoon concert:

Tickets for the after-party at Monarch are currently on sale for just $11.28 with fees, and we recommend getting yours soon before the price is raised on October 9. Electric Fields is just one of many free shows at the Golden Gate Park bandshell, which has shows scheduled until November 22. The bandshell is located on the Music Concourse, which is tucked between the de Young and California Academy of Sciences. San Francisco residents can visit the de Young for free on Saturdays, and we recommend stopping by before the concert.
About the Golden Gate park Bandshell
The Golden Gate Park Bandshell, also called the Spreckels Temple of Music, dates back to 1900. The outdoor stage was a gift from Claus Spreckels, a prominent businessman in SF. The one that stands today was actually the third bandstand built on the Music Concourse, made larger to accommodate larger crowds visiting the park.
