San Francisco’s Salesforce Park is an amazing modern marvel in the Financial District. The verdant oasis rests 70 feet above the street on the roof of the Salesforce Transit Center, and it’s completely free and open for the public to visit at any time.
It also hosts a collection of free events every week, including yoga classes, boot camps, live music, bird walks, garden tours, drum circles, and much more. Beyond its regular programming, the park also hosts special events throughout the year.

Salesforce Park is one of the city’s newer parks, but it still makes a statement. It is located in SF’s financial district, near many bustling streets and office buildings. While you’re at the park, we recommend walking to the Ferry Building, which features a thriving marketplace with beloved businesses and many free events. The park is also within walking distance of SFMOMA and MoAD, which regularly showcase new exhibitions.
Be sure to check it out from 6 am to 8 pm every day (or until 9 pm from May to October). Find it at 425 Mission Street in San Francisco’s Yerba Buena district.
