“Next train in 36 minutes.”
San Francisco is one unique city, and if you’re from here, you know there are some unspoken rules about what things are called, where to get the best burritos, and how far is too far on public transit. We wanted to get to the bottom of this, so we asked our Facebook and Instagram followers to “annoy a San Franciscan in 5 words or less.” They didn’t disappoint, and here are some of our favorite responses:
“I don’t need a sweater.”
“Are you a native San Franciscan?”
“Wanna go to Fisherman’s Wharf?”
“I love Frisco!”
“I don’t like sour sourdough.”
“Welcome to San Fran.” – Southwest pilot
“Frisco”
“San Fran is in Cali.”
“No left turn”
“Did you make a reservation?”
“The BART”
“Karl the Fog”
“Where’s the 49ers stadium?”
“Recycling is so Cali of you.”
“Chipotle is my favorite burrito.”
“You were outbid.”
“I’m not vaccinated.”
“Aren’t you afraid of earthquakes?”
“So you live in SFO?”
“Street cleaning day”
“Next train in 36 minutes.”
“San Jose is Bay Area”
“We’re out of almond milk.”
“Daly City is San Francisco.”
“Where’s the trolley?”
“One hour parking limit”
“2 hour parking 8am-9pm”
“Where does George Lucas live?”
“Go Dodgers!”
“It’s in the East Bay.”
