SF Open Studios first debuted 40 years ago in 1975 with the goal of connecting local artists to San Franciscans and tourists. Since then, the annual Open Studios event has thrived, showcasing SF’s unique art scene.
The 2025 Open Studio event is in full swing after kicking off on September 19, and there are still plenty more exciting open studios until October 19. Hundreds of local artists will open their creative spaces to the public each weekend, offering the chance for people to experience new art and see how artists work. The month-long event divides studios by neighborhoods so that you can explore a specific area throughout one weekend with multiple open studios.

- Weekend 2: Sept. 27 and 28
