The beloved Golden Gate Park Bandshell is back in full swing for another year of delightful free music. These weekly free and family-friendly concerts are some of the most cherished events in the park. Catch over 125 free performances in a variety of genres, including R&B, soul, jazz, funk, big band, strings, indie, rock, reggae, salsa, electronic, and EDM.
The free concert series debuted for 2026 on March 1 and will continue until the fall. Keep reading for the upcoming lineup and schedule.

Weekly performances generally follow set themes for certain days, although there are plenty of special events in addition to the following:

The free concerts are funded by private donations and have been a beloved series since they began in 2020 to celebrate Golden Gate Park’s 150th anniversary. Now, due to popular demand, the concert series has continued into 2026.
