Charli xcx , the iconic pop star best known for her hit album Brat, released in 2024, is headlining San Francisco’s Outside Lands music festival next week. The star is set to perform on Friday, August 7, at 8:40 pm in Golden Gate Park.
Just a few hours before her headlining performance, Charli xcx will be at a Q&A at beloved record store Amoeba Records in the Haight Ashbury district. The in-store event starts at 3:30 pm, leaving many fans and festival attendees conflicted because Outside Lands will have kicked off earlier that day at noon.
On July 24, Charli xcx released her 8th studio album, Music, Fashion, Film. The Q&A is for fans who purchased the album on vinyl from Amoeba, with a limited number of spots available. While some fans were disappointed with the timing of the event, it has already sold out.
Charli xcx at Outside Lands

Charli xcx was announced as one of the major headliners for Outside Lands earlier this year. The singer will perform Friday night on the Lands End stage. Other headliners for Outside Lands include The Strokes, Rüfüs Du Sol, and Death Cab for Cutie. The three-day music festival takes place in Golden Gate Park, with multiple stages throughout the park. The festival is currently sold out; however, you can join the waitlist if more passes become available.
