Easter in San Francisco brings a bountiful array of exciting parties, egg hunts, brunches, and unforgettable activities every single year. Here we’ve pulled some of 2026’s most highly anticipated Easter events this spring, from Dolores Park’s famous Hunky Jesus Contest to Salesforce Park’s lively Spring Fling.
Whether you’re seeking a kid-friendly egg hunt or an adult-friendly party, here’s how to celebrate Easter San Francisco style.

Our famous irreverent drag nuns, AKA the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence, are back with another rendition of Easter In The Park, one of the most well-attended Easter activities in San Francisco.
They kick off the day with a Children’s Easter, including music, an egg drop, games, and performances. From noon to 4 pm, things will get rowdier with the famous Hunky Jesus, Foxy Mary, and Easter Bonnet contests. Contestants show up in their hunkiest and foxiest Biblical costumes and compete for the grand title.

SF’s magical Candlelight Concerts will continue to mesmerize audiences through the spring. See some of the city’s most unique venues decked out with thousands of flickering candles, making for a uniquely intimate environment to experience live music performances. This spring, we’re looking forward to hearing classical renditions of our favorite songs by Coldplay, The Beatles, Hans Zimmer, Adele, and Vivaldi.
Bring Your Own Big Wheel
For over two decades, San Franciscans have raced down Vermont Street on big wheels in one of the city’s wackiest events on Easter weekend: the Bring Your Own Big Wheel (BYOBW) race. If all goes well, the event will remain free, but be sure to donate to help cover all the permits and city fees. There is usually a young kids (13 and under) race and an “adult children” race.

Easter Sunday at Grace Cathedral
